Your generated source
Atomic lets you browse and download generated source files. The source describes the application, but downloading it is not the same as making a complete backup of a running business.
Generated projects can include dependencies and other materials governed by third-party licenses. Review those licenses before distributing or reusing the project.
Your app’s business data
Customer accounts, bookings, orders, uploaded files, and other live records are separate from generated source. Source downloads do not include those records. Data export and retention procedures need to be confirmed for your deployment.
The environment that runs it
A live app also depends on configuration, secrets, infrastructure, and services. Source export does not transfer that environment. Keep credentials private, and do not place production secrets in downloaded projects you share publicly.
Where Atom fits
Atom is the open-source backend underneath Atomic’s identity, data, and permissions. Its permissive license allows inspection and use in your own deployments. That foundation does not mean an Atomic app can automatically be moved with every account and record intact.
Packaging and portability
Broader app packaging and deployment choices remain roadmap items. Before relying on a migration path, ask the Atomic team about the supported process for your app, its data, and its services.
